The Keystone Bank Communication System NBES Securities sub-system is a comprehensive on-line interface to the Federal Reserve Bank's National Book Entry System. Employing the standard BCS architecture, the NBES Securities sub-system is modular in design and supports the full range of FRB functions.

Comprehensive on-line archival support. All messages and audit trails are retained for a user-specified period of time. Effective retrieval and search menus provide for displaying/printing from the archives.
Provision for storage and automatic aging of up to 120 days of future dated messages
Syntax checking in according with FRB rules performed during message preparation
Automatic monitoring and retrieving of missing messages
Full status, including counts and amounts for all FRB security traffic
Selective printing based on user needs
Ability to use automated entry codes to reduce keystrokes on manual entries
Securities deconversion/conversion support
OFAC monitoring for blocked entities and Special Designated Nationals available
